PVC Self-adhesive tape for electrical applications and mechanical protection are available from Raytech and Partex – these are recommended for insulating low voltage joints and for covering cables for general use. These are self-extinguishing according to BS3924

• Rayteam – VDE marked Self-adhesive tape recommended for insulating low voltage joints and for covering cables. It is self-extinguishing and does not propagate fire. Excellent resistance to ageing, exposure to weather conditions, hydrocarbons and chemical solvents in general use. Available in Black, Grey, White, Red, blue, Brown and Yellow/Green

• Raytech Super 3-3 – PVC adhesive tape suitable for wide range of working temperatures -18°C/+105° Its flame retardant and self-extinguishing and recommended for insulation of joints up to 0.6/1kV
• Raytech 2.3 Self-Amalgamating Tape/Self Fusing Tape – Its used for insulating and sealing high voltage electrical joints for voltage up to Um 72kV. It amalgamates rapidly adapting to the product underneath forming a solid unit without air bubbles resulting in a water proof joint

• Raytech 7.0 – Self-amalgamating silicone rubber tape, used as an insulation up to 180°C due to its excellent heat properties
• Raytefill – Thick low voltage Self-amalgamating tape is designed of rapid reconstruction of low-voltage cable insulation, to cover complex shapes (insulating and covering joints between busbars and relative bolts, clamps, etc.) and to seal against possible penetration of humidity
• Raytech Super 23 – Self-amalgamating insulation tape for harsh applications to create a solid mass with excellent physical, thermal and electrical characteristics. It’s water repellence characteristics makes it an ideal choice for the isolation and protection of electrical components, even in the presence of moisture or when exposed to weathering.
